Refunds policy on bookshop orders
We will happily replace any books that might be damaged during shipping provided the books are returned to us. You can also return any book purchased for refund or exchange within 30 days of purchase on the condition that the book is still in saleable condition. If there is any other reason for which you might seek a refund then please contact us directly with your order details and we will do our best to find a solution.
Problems with ordering online
All our transactions are handled securely via the Paypal system. We do not ask for or store your credit card details. When you are directed to the Paypal site on checkout you will be given a choice of paying via credit card or via an existing Paypal account.
If you experience any problems with checkout, please contact us with the following details to help us help you quicker:
- Name of title you are trying to buy
- Date you tried to make purchase on
- Email address used in transaction
- Error message received (if any)
- Browser and operating system used
- If you have an existing Paypal account
Delivery charges and times
You can find a full breakdown of our delivery charges here. For larger orders or trade enquiries, please contact us directly on bookshop@originalwriting.ie. All orders are processed and dispatched within 3 working days from Dublin with the majority of orders dispatched via the Irish postal system An Post.
Your delivery times may vary according to your location and factors outside of our control but if you feel you have been waiting an excessive amount of time for an order, please feel free to contact us directly and we will try to help you.
