A saga of love, accident and design that draws three people into a life-long bond of love as they resist the violence and conflict that has thrown them together.
Introduction:
Daniel is a gritty down and dirty James Bond who does not fight for Queen and country but for idealism, love, freedom and the right to choose. He is an individualist who above all fights the bullies of all tribes and colours. His partner is Lauren, a fierce, powerful amazon of a woman who shares Daniel’s world-view and is attracted to his challenging masculinity, tenderness and hedonism but is also afraid of the way he undermines her ambiguous sexuality. Their love affair is unravelling under the strains of the double lives they lead and then Bonny explodes upon them.
Bonny is a voluptuous force of nature and femininity personified; full of earth-mother natural wisdom, huge potential and implacable determination to escape the limitations of her family and past. Bonny’s innocence and guileless seduction disarms the cynical pair and she becomes the instrument that will change all their lives and perhaps help them survive the conflict that has made them, brought them together and that may yet destroy them.
Daniel’s Conflict is a genre defying rip roaring ride that will grab you and take you for a sometimes shocking trip into the heart of conflict and before long you will be rooting for our unlikely heroes as they journey towards freedom and seek salvation.
The tribes and the flags that people wrap themselves in are challenged here and you will find individuals who resist the forces that draw tribes together and divide societies and communities. There are truths here that will make those who treasure the myths, legends and social norms; uncomfortable. None of the patriotic flags, green, orange or union are flown and many myths are exploded and challenged. Erotic and sexually explicit events are described in frank terms without euphemism, this is a story aimed at a mature, open-minded readership.
