You gave me a life
To do as I choose
The knowledge and ability
With nothing to lose
Everything I have I owe to you
You were my mother
I called you Sue
You never judged me for who I was
Knew I had reasons to support my cause
Knowing and feeling the things I do
The lessons that thought me I learned from you
If things go bad and you go away
These final words to you I say
I promise you now things are on track
That life is over your son is back
